Programme for rural
development of CAC
Programme for rural
development of CAC was established in 1999 and until than we
are working different projects dedicated for cultural and
social development of rural regions. Also in the frame of
our activities in the field we offer free consultancy for
rural communities for different projects and help in
fulfilment of application forms, as a result of this
activity more than 500.000 EUR are invested in different
infrastructural and other projects in the villages of
Macedonia.
During Last five years we successfully realized following
project:
Small Tradition – Big Values 2004/5, granted with
35.000 CHF by Royal Netherlands Embassy in Macedonia, aimed
at presenting and preserving of the values of Macedonians
with Islamic confession from Reka region (Radika river
valley), Reka cultural summer established as yearly
activity; Living heritage Programme I and II in
2005/6, granted with 25.000 CHF by Foundation Open Society
Institute Macedonia (FOSIM) with aim Promotion of local
heritage and crafts of more than 40 local communities in
Macedonia; Small Door Community Cultural Initiatives
2005/8 granted with 125.000 CHF by Swiss Cultural Programme
Macedonia, project resulted with Established Multimedia art
centre in Tetovo, renovated and functional House of Culture
in village of Rostushe, and Municipality authorities of
Tearce and Rostushe start with financing of Local culture;
Cultural needs tastes and habits of citizens of Serbia
and Macedonia 2005 granted with 18.000 CHF from Civic
Committee Nish, Serbia. Project result was: Collected and
analysed data’s about Cultural needs, tastes and habits of
citizens of Serbia and Macedonia; Platform for Cultural
and Social development of Western Balkans 2007/8 granted
with 36.000 CHF by East East Partnership Beyond Borders of
Soros foundations network, Result: Platform created,
organized international conference dedicated to rural
development, 5 small action grants given to local
communities in Western Balkans
